Kaylee's Graduation Pictures- Pioneer Park

My sister Kaylee is graduating from BYU-Idaho next month and wanted some graduation pictures taken for her announcements. The desert lighting was beyond beautiful and I'm so happy with how these turned out. (it helps when your subject is gorgeous too!) It was really fun taking pictures in a new place and I'm excited to discover all the cool photo opportunities that southern Utah has to offer. If you want pictures taken, let's talk! I'm ready to branch out!

Sweet Baby Girl [newborn, posed]

About a year ago, I took a photography class called "Mastering the Style of Minimalist Newborn Photography" and since then, I have been really excited to try this myself. I love newborn photography that focuses all on the baby, and avoids the use of props and brights colors. A few months ago I started slowly buying the equipment necessary, and this month I took this sweet baby girl's photos. I was so nervous about posing and wondering if she would cooperate at all, but it could not have gone smoother. Aria was perfect and never made a peep. She was amazing!

Every time I have a session, I learn so much more. I'm feeling more and more confident in Photoshop and am learning tons of new tricks. This shoot was so fun and I am excited to do more!

Welling Family, Highbanks Metro Park

I absolutely love this family! I was so happy they asked me to take their family pictures. It was super chilly, but the lighting was beautiful and I think a lot of these pictures turned out magical. Thanks for braving the cold with me, I think it was well worth it! :)

Amelia + Benson, Park of Roses

Does anyone know of any "Prettiest Toddler Photograph" competitions that I can submit this top photograph to? I'm pretty sure Amelia would win. Look at those green eyes! She is precious. And the funniest little girl.. She is FULL of personality. I'll never forget going to the zoo with her and she had all the boys following her around like puppies and she would say "come on boys!".. You guys, she's two! It was hilarious.  We had to play hide and seek in order to get some pictures, but it was well worth it!

Alyssa just had her family pictures taken but she was hoping for some extra head shots of her kids smiling. It was super chilly and gray, but we made do.. These are a few of my favorites :)

Coles Family, OSU pond near Buckeye Village

I absolutely love the Coles family and am so glad Christine asked me to take their family pictures. Jordan and Ben both started Pharmacy school together and have grown to be good friends during our time here in Ohio. We've attended church together and Davis and Noah have become best little buds. Christine is amazing and is training to become a doula! She was going to be my doula if Luke hadn't flown out in one hour, but I'm sure she would have been awesome. We are so lucky to have made such great friends with them and will be sad when we all head out.

^^Hands down my favorite picture of all. Jordan said this is a real Ben smile, so I feel like I won by capturing it ;)
Aren't their boys the absolute cutest!? Davis was the most amazing three year old ever to have pictures taken. I was fully expecting craziness but he cooperated with all of my requests and constantly had a smile on his face.
Griffin has the cutest open mouth smiles!
^THAT FACE! I can't get over it.
